From Concept to Newsletter in Less than 48 Hours
Jeff Stahman from TurfMend, a valued partner in our NatureTech network, reached out to me after catching wind of my recent endeavors in AI-generated art. In a recent conversation, I commended Jeff on TurfMend's striking branding, which has swiftly become a hallmark in the turfgrass industry. I was excited at the prospect of embracing a new challenge that stems from outside my own creative sphere.
Below, I outline the creative steps and tools employed to transform the initial concept into a finished product in an astonishingly short time-frame, showcasing the remarkable results.
-
Using ChatGPT+ with DALL-E I was able to quickly generate quite a few different takes on the idea and see what Jeff thought. It became clear he had a keen eye and wouldn’t settle for AI weirdness in the foreground or background.
-
Using the powerful tool “Generative Fill” on Photoshop Express I was able to eliminate unwanted elements and blend scenes together. The product looked great, but it was only in square format.

Peter from TurfNet reached out with a task that I had doubts I would be able to acomplish. I thought I had hit the end of the road, but Generative Fill came through again. With ease, I expanded the background and converted the image from 1:1 to a 16:9 format. This was the preferred format for the TurfNet newsletter that hit inboxes less than 48 hours after the initial request from Jeff.
